Repeats
first opened in 1996 as a partnership. This remained for
five years and, in 2001, Nadine became the sole owner of the
business.
Repeats
is a used clothing store with items for the entire family. We
import our clothing from the United States. We do not accept
donations or clothing on consignment. Doing so helps to keep our
costs as low as possible.
Our
goal is to offer our customers good quality service and a great
product at the lowest cost.
About
the staff:
Nadine
Ramsay hailed from Alberton, PEI. She moved to Charlottetown
in 1996 and couldn't be happier. She has four wonderful children,
twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild (with another on the
way)! She takes a yearly trip to the US to visit family and takes
regular trips to St. John, NB to visit her brother. She loves
to go out to the movies with friends and loves to hang out with the
grandchildren! Nadine plans to keep on running the store for as
long as she can.
Mary
Matthews lives in beautiful Rocky Point. She is Nadine's
eldest daughter and has three children of her own and a grandchild
on the way! She enjoys the warm weather and, in the winter,
heads down south whenever she can! During the summer months, you
can find Mary sitting on the beach on her days off. Mary
hopes to one day take over the business her mother has grown,
hopefully in partnership with her only sister.
Jennifer
Pitre is one of Nadine's grandchildren. She has worked at Repeats
part-time for the last six years while attending UPEI, working
towards her
Business and Nursing degrees. Jennifer was recently married on
August 2nd to her high school sweetheart! In the future, Jennifer
plans to head up north to work in the health care field and
hopes to someday travel to Europe and Australia when all her
student debt is paid off!
We
now also have a new edition to the Repeats family; her name is
Deanna Landry. She came to us after working many years in the
post office. Deanna
works at Repeats part time and enjoys spending visiting with
her grandchildren on her time off. |
